What is your typical project process?

Design review → underground phase → rough-in → pressure testing → trim-out and fixtures → inspection and handoff. We coordinate with engineers, GCs, and inspectors throughout.

Who needs annual backflow testing?

Accepted Answer

Most commercial buildings, multi-family properties, stratas, restaurants, medical clinics, auto shops, and anywhere with irrigation or fire sprinklers. Municipalities require annual testing to protect the public water supply.

What fire sprinkler standards do you work with?

NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D. We provide design-build for residential and commercial projects — hydraulic calculations, AutoCAD drawings, installation, flushing, and AHJ inspection.

Are you Class A gas fitters?

Yes. We hold Class A gas contractor licenses in BC and Alberta, which means we can install commercial gas distribution, high-capacity boilers, and commercial kitchen equipment.

Heat pumps, VRF, ductwork, ERV/HRV ventilation, fan coils, boilers, and mini-splits. We design and commission full mechanical room installations for multi-family and commercial builds.

Yes. We support your education through SkilledTradesBC and cover all certification costs. Apprentices work on real multi-family and commercial projects alongside Red Seal journeymen.

Yes. Multi-trade coordination is one of our strengths — we use BIM coordination on complex projects to resolve conflicts before steel and concrete.

Do you handle the municipal filing?

Yes. As a Technical Safety BC registered backflow testing company, we submit test reports directly to your municipality and issue you a certificate of compliance.

Yes. High-rise and complex commercial projects often need standpipe systems and fire pumps — we handle design, procurement, and installation.

Do you pull gas permits?

Absolutely. We handle all permit applications with Technical Safety BC (or ABSA in Alberta), pressure testing, and final certification.

Yes. Our designers coordinate with energy consultants to ensure mechanical systems meet your Step Code targets. Heat pumps, heat recovery, and air-sealing coordination are routine for us.
